打小人(daa2 siu2 jan4):Beating Petty People
It is a folk a folk sorcery popular in Hong Kong and the Guangdong area of China . Its purpose is to curse one's enemies to stop messing around.
In Hong Kong, if you want to beat petty people, you can go to Canal Road Flyover 鵝頸橋(ngo4 geng2 kiu4), Causeway Bay and pay about HK$30(US$6) to the elderly woman to take her shoe and beat the pulp out of a crude paper effigy symbolizing the traducer.
